Wellers Fine Art is an auction house based in Guildford, Surrey. The firm dates back to 1866 with its roots in livestock auctions.

While their retail and commercial auction business closed in 2016, Wellers Fine Art continue to hold regular sales of pictures, antiques, jewellery, watches, architectural items and reclamation.

AN auction first for specialist Gordon Patrick, the vastly experienced specialist at Clarke Gammon Wellers (15% buyer's premium), was the sleeper and undisputed highlight of the Surrey sale on July 27 – a 2ft (61cm) wide kingwood, rosewood and satinwood inlaid envelope card table entered with a £200-300 estimate.
