Bigwood

Bigwood are an auction house based in Stratford-upon-Avon which can trace its roots back to the 19th century. The firm is now owned by Christopher Ironmonger.

In 2015, they teamed up with Halls of Shrewsbury to offer the estate of the famous publisher Felix Dennis. The saleroom has hosted numerous auctions which have appeared on TV programmes such as the BBC’s Bargain Hunt, Flog It and Antiques Road Trip.

Ascot Cup shines at Felix Dennis collection sale

The 1864 Ascot Cup, an impressive Victorian silver racing trophy by Garrard, led proceedings at the three-day sale of the Felix Dennis (1947-2014) collection. It sold at £67,000.
