The white skull within a blue D embroidered on green marks its wearer as a member of D Troop No.3 Commando. Little is known of the badge's history but the design is illustrated in the literature on the subject and this was the first believed to have come onto the market. At £3575 (in excess of £4000 with premium) it sold to an English collector.
