The division has been launched under the name Antiques Fair Management and will develop Town and Country’s existing collectors fairs at Malvern, Cheltenham and Weston-super-Mare and initiate two new fixtures at Richmond, Surrey and Brighton.
A series of Monday fairs at Brighton Racecourse will start on March 3, but the event that most excites Mr Munro is his own initiative, weekend fairs at Richmond Athletic Ground scheduled for May 24 and 25 and July 26 and 27.
The latter fair is datelined to 1960 and well-known Carmarthen dealers and fair organisers Robert and Carol Pugh will oversee vetting.
Munro heads new fairs division for Wellington
NEIL Munro, the former managing director of DMG Antiques Fairs, has joined Shropshire-based Wellington Market Company, the owners of Town and Country Fairs, to create a dedicated antiques division.
