Liquidation notices sent out to customers concerned the firm’s old holding company which is now defunct after Canada-based Ableauctions acquired icollector at the end of last year. Icollector’s plans to grow their UK business remain unchanged, Mr Hill confirmed.

FEARS that the UK arm of online sales provider icollector have gone bust are not founded, the company’s UK spokesman Mark Hill has reassured Antiques Trade Gazette.
