Highest selling entry was this turquoise and orange Matchbox no.30c eight-wheeled crane which was manufactured at the Lesney factory in the 1960s.
Measuring 11/2in (4cm) the crane was expected to fetch between £100-150, but its rare colour variation encouraged bidding from a US collector who went to £2600 (plus 15 per cent).
